GSTQ is a founder-led brand, a passion project of a notable Hollywood producer.
As Creative Director, I set the vision for the brand identity, creative direction and strategy for
social presence, email and CRM campaigns, influencer strategy, paid spend, e-commerce design,
and product photography. On a shoestring budget, we created brand awareness and drove conversion.
With bold graphic elements, arresting photography, and whip smart, GSTQ was hard to ignore.
The product line’s limited color way and the bold, graphic, black & white color palette
underscored GSTQ’s brand voice of unapologetic confidence.
Templatized email designs allowed us to build brand recognition.
Messaging was kept short and direct (4-word headlines were our longest)
with a tongue-in-cheek attitude to convey the brand’s tone.
With most traffic coming from paid social, our mobile-optimized e-com maximized conversion.
Purchasers were re-engaged with messaging in their feed and in their inbox, encouraging repeat visits.
Communicating the brand position, pillars, and product benefits in one fell swoop is no easy feat.
